Our client is currently seeking a retail Regional Property Manager to manage the operations and maintenance of an assigned portfolio of retail shopping center properties, as well as manage a small team of property managers in the company’s Western Region. The individual will be based out of Beverly Hills, CA.
Maintain effective cost control
Direct and assist in billing and collection of all monies, rents, and charges
Ensure compliance with lease obligations
Budget, analyze and forecast property expenses, including capital expenditures
Manage relationships with tenants and vendors
Manage operational issues such as tenant transitions, processing rent relief requests, assignment recommendations, approved modifications, etc.
Coordinate tenant improvements and capital expenditure projects
Obtain bids from, negotiate with, and supervise outside vendors
Work on special projects/ongoing initiatives according to current/future needs, with a focus on generating ancillary income and reducing expenses
Provide support for and manage a team of 3-4 property managers in the region
Coordinate with other departments (e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, construction, accounting, finance and legal) in relation to property management functions.
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
Minimum of seven (7) years of shopping center property management
Prior supervisory experience a plus
Proficient knowledge of the shopping center industry
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (familiarity with Yardi is a plus)
