Leading and fast growing chain seeks the above new position to add to its Executive Board. Individual will oversee the Real Estate, Construction, and Franchise team. Position reports to CEO. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of ten years plus and related deal making experience and relationships with nationwide mall and shopping center leadership. THIS IS A MUST!
Additionally, the candidate will have experience with non-traditional real estate locations as well.
Candidate must have a background in strategic planning and a thorough understanding of the development timeline from project identification to contract negotiations and execution.
Also, the ideal person will have leadership skills required to manage a high performing, growth oriented, and accountable team.
Responsibilities will include:
Deliver high-value real estate deals nationwide
Develop and maintain deep relationships with leading malls and shopping centers nationwide
Drive value and growth from high-potential alternative (non-mall) locations: airports, train stations, entertainment hotspots, etc.
Establish a highly respected development organization known for best-in-class practices and culture both internally and externally
Perform strategic analysis on the brand’s market performance and penetration to define and adjust targeted sales and opening strategies, tactics, and targets to optimize development efforts
Recognize initiative, innovation, and achievement to create an environment of excellence
Attract, hire, retain, and mentor a highly effective development team
Regularly communicate with the Board regarding development pipeline and accurately forecast new store openings
