Central New Jersey/Monmouth County Based Shopping Center Developer
We have been retained by a Central New Jersey Shopping Center organization rapidly expanding and looking to dramatically increase their assets over the next 3 – 5 years.
Currently looking to identify a Senior Acquisitions executive.
Responsibility shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Identify shopping center properties for sale in primary and secondary markets
Monitor websites to identify opportunities
Identify, prioritize, and underwrite potential acquisitions
Develop detailed business plans for executive team approval, including the modeling of financial projections with detailed capital and operating budgets
Work directly with senior executives to continually refine investment strategy
Interpret market information and asset pricing, as well as develop a clear and concise investment strategy by effectively analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, value-creation opportunities and risks of the proposed investment
Travel to markets/properties required
Candidate must have purchased everything from power centers, strip centers, grocery anchor, outlet centers, and lifestyle or value centers.
5 – 10 years minimum of commercial real estate investment experience preferably with direct experience in shopping center acquisitions in secondary and tertiary markets
Bachelor’s degree required
Analytical real estate underwriting experience
Strong financial quantitative and analytical skills
High degree of demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong networking skills and contacts
Ability to create and implement work plans, prepare and analyze financial statements/documents, compose letters and acquisition packages
Diligent, hard worker capable of thriving in an intense, high-energy, transaction-driven environment
Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision
Must be innovative and creative who can operate independently and able to work through challenging approval process
Must be able to multi-task
