The primary function of the position is to work with the General Manager at Shopping Center. This position is an administrative function for a commercial manager of a Lifestyle Center. The position will also assist the general manager with various activities.
Duties and responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
Filing tenant files and vendor files
Answering property phone calls
Coding of property invoices
Research payments for vendors
Help obtain operational and construction bids
Assist in preparation of service contracts and AIA contracts
Help with the budget process
Address fire alarm issues
Open access points for vendors as needed
Assist with tenant marketing as needed
Coordinate tenant service requests pertaining to property operations and administration.
Compile information, prepare and update reports or process other documents as required: Lease Abstracts, Tenant &
Vendor Insurance Certificates, Vendor Service Agreements, Vendor Invoices and Service Records, Property Emergency
Call Lists, Tenant & Vendor Contact Lists in Yardi, etc.
Assist with construction supervision
Enter sales in Yardi and reach out to tenants to obtain sales
Apply Cash Receipts for tenants
Review A/R and address delinquencies as needed
Preparation of special projects on an ad hoc basis
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 3-5 years previous related experience preferably in a Real Estate background
Knowledge AVID Exchange and Yardi, preferred
Proficient in Excel & Word
Basic knowledge of real estate
The ability to read and interpret complex tenant leases, real estate related agreements and construction contracts.
Interpersonal Skills and Abilities:
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and think outside the box
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
