The Woodmont Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Investment Sales to lead the Retail Investment Sales Platform as part of the rapidly growing Retail Brokerage team. The Woodmont Company currently operates a retail portfolio in excess of 20M square feet across 29 states.
Act as “Team Leader” in directing the company’s current Investment Sales Associates and recruiting in additional sales associates.
In conjunction with pursuing new listing assignments, develop, implement and maintain an Investment Sales “Pitch-Kit” for presentation to existing and potential property owner clients
Advising clients and customers in the execution of the complete life cycle of the Retail Investment Sales transaction process, including the preparation of BOV’s, Market Research, offering memorandums, Retail Trends analysis, Transaction due diligence, and Capital Market activity.
Marketing Company’s exclusive Investment Sales Listings to qualified Buyers.
Securing new client relationships, and networking with other industry professionals to secure new business opportunities and market the company’s additional services to potential customers.
Interfacing with The Woodmont Company’s extensive third-party institutional lender clients to solicit and undertake listing assignments at such time as those clients elect to take a respective property to market.
Preparing and negotiating RFPs, exclusive listing agreements, and purchase and sales agreements.
Maintaining an active CRM Database of both sellers and buyers of retail properties.
Maintaining a database of sales comparables for all types of retail properties including open-air shopping centers, enclosed regional malls, outlet shopping centers, and Single Tenant Net Leased assets.
Participating in industry networking events, including all applicable ICSC events.
Maintain current knowledge of Industry, Tax, and Legislative Regulations affecting the purchase and sale, and investment real estate.
Minimum of 10 Years of Retail Investment Sales Experience
Specific transaction experience across the Country associated with Enclosed Regional Malls, Open Air Centers, Outlet Centers, distressed retail assets, and Single Tenant Net Leased assets
Bachelor's degree from a four-year accreted University, Real Estate or Finance emphasis preferred
Texas Real Estate Salesperson license required.
Must be self-motivated, sales-driven, and thrive in a dynamic primarily commission-based entrepreneurial business.
Advanced skills with Argus and Microsoft Excel required.
Advanced skills with Costar, LoopNet, CREXI, TenX.
Must be professional with excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
