Southwest Virginia Community College seeks a dedicated professional for the position of Real Estate Coordinator. This position assists the Executive Director of the Educational Foundation in the development of business plans and the implementation of the plans to maximize the value of each asset/property in the foundation portfolio. To undertake market research, data analysis, and revenue forecasting with respect of the property under the portfolio and in the case of a property decline, work with the foundation board to evaluate the market, assess the physical condition of the property, and outline the strategy to appropriately reposition the property. The Director of Real Estate will also recommend and oversee the implementation of all capital improvement projects.
Computer Literate Receptive to learning and developing Good interpersonal relationships Good team player Experience with software and database management and Peoplesoft/SIS Some Information Systems Technology experience required to maintain websites for Foundation and/or the Real Estate LLC Extensive understanding of real estate, with a proven track record of successful real estate transactions across multiple property types Current knowledge of industry trends in real estate and development, and a natural desire to understand specific market characteristics
