We are currently seeking an individual for a senior level Leasing Representative Role to lease a high-profile mall property in the greater Cleveland OH area.
The Senior Leasing Representative identifies, negotiates, and finalizes lease terms with national and local retail tenants. This role will predominantly focus on a high profile mall property in the greater Cleveland area with direct reporting to and involvement with the Director of Leasing, CEO and COO of Spinoso Real Estate Group (“SREG”). Solid existing relationships and ability to create new is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Thorough understanding of property, market, trade area, competition, and demographic profile
Use data and internal tools to identify desired tenants and develop strategy to execute
Negotiate leases with national and regional tenants, both box and small shop
Identify potential tenants and contact them to occupy space in client and/or Company shopping centers
Canvas for prospective new local and regional tenants through cold calling, in-person meetings and follow-ups
Analysis of existing tenant rent roll, occupancy, sales data, lease agreements, amendments, etc.
Work with SREG demograpghic, cell phone capture, psychographic, data/tools and marketing materials to develop compelling business presentations to prospective tenants
Financial analysis of existing and new leases, clauses, etc.
Develop productive relationships with tenants
Handle lease negotiations from initial inquiry through lease execution
Negotiate Letters of Intent and coordinate lease execution with legal counsel
Assist in the merchandising of client or Company retail properties
Attend SREG leasing meetings
Participate in Client/Partner calls
Mentoring other SREG Leasing Professionals
Development of Presentations and Proposals
Extensive travel for prospective Tenant meetings, canvassing, etc.
Participate in ICSC functions
Provide superior client service:
Positively and proactively collaborate with everyone in the Company in any way needed to further the leasing and marketing of mall properties to achieve, sell and provide world-class service to all our constituents
Maintain Client confidence and protect operations by keeping proprietary information confidential
Perform other duties as required
Microsoft Office Skills

Manual dexterity sufficient for constant use of a keyboard, mouse, and telephone/radio
Ability to operate office equipment, including a copier, fax machine, postage machine, etc.

Speech and hearing sufficient for regular communications on the phone, radio or face-to-face
Vision sufficient for reading work related documents on a monitor or in paper format
Sufficient sense of smell to detect dangerous odors
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach in the course of normal office functions
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time

Bachelor’s degree is required
Must possess/obtain required Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License
5 years’ experience in the real estate industry, particularly enclosed shopping centers
