To support our growth, we are looking for a Transactions Analyst to join our Transactions team. This team is responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis support related to the management of the Company’s portfolio of shopping centers.
What you will do:
Analysis and support for underwriting, due diligence and closing of investments and dispositions by collecting information and preparing, reviewing, and summarizing various reports.
Assist in modeling acquisition opportunities and conduct analyses on cash flow, valuation, and other assumptions.
Produce and review investment packages by highlighting economic, demographic, and market data as well as delivering SWOT analyses for senior management
Conduct various analyses related to leasing deal approval and key operating metrics
Communicate with external parties regarding transaction activity including the equity sponsor, partners, brokers, lenders, lawyers, and prospective investors
Support the Asset Management Department with disposition analysis and quarterly Board Book presentations
Spearhead special projects as directed by the CEO or EVP of Asset Management
Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
What you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, or related field
1-2 years of financial experience
Strong understanding of financial analysis concepts, including, but not limited to, rates of return, cash flows, net present value and realization
Understanding of general real estate capital markets and trends
Advanced knowledge of various financial and acquisition modeling techniques
Ability to interpret, analyze, and comprehend the results of the various financial models
Proactive, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, ability to prioritize, high degree of integrity, and collaborative
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience in real estate private equity or REIT role preferred
Exposure to both corporate and asset-level real estate financial modeling preferred
Knowledge of Argus Enterprise preferred
Experience with MRI or related Accounting Software preferred
