Pacific Southwest Realty Services (PSRS) is a mortgage banking company whose primary emphasis is making loans on larger commercial properties using money from insurance companies, pension funds, and Wall Street sources. We are a strong, privately owned, regional mortgage banking shop with a $4.5B servicing portfolio and a long standing track record in the industry.
We are looking for someone who has the aptitude and drive to become a commercial loan officer with our firm, and hopefully become a partner one day. The Junior Loan Officer will be expected to transition from a support role of other loan officers into a loan production role within 12-24 months, at which point the average loan officer can make between $250-500k per year. We mentor the junior loan officer and provide as much support as needed during this transition to make sure they succeed. The position includes a competitive salary plus commission as well as a full benefits package.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We expect our candidates to have some commercial real estate experience, whether it has been in sales or leasing brokerage, or on the asset management and acquisition side. Junior Loan Officer
Evaluate loan request by analyzing income and expense statements, determine proforma income analysis and create valuation of property
Review all supporting documentation for accuracy
Meet with loan officers to review information received form the borrower and formulate loan marketing strategy
Assist Loan Officer to underwrite, package, market and ultimately work with the lender through the loan approval phase
Create spreadsheets, input to spreadsheets and database information
Perform other reasonably related business duties assigned by a supervisor
3+ years real-estate experience
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Able to communicate in a professional and courteous manner in person, over the phone and via written correspondence.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise independent judgement and analysis
