This position will be filled at either the Phoenix or Tysons Corner Corporate Office.
The Coordinator, Business Development Leasing Services is responsible for the lease administration, deal input, reporting expertise and validation, forecast reconciliation and budget validation, and onboarding of new department hires in tools and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of department policies and procedures, reporting functionality, forecasting and budgeting requirements, and Yardi Elevate Retail Manager. In all efforts, the coordinator will embrace and demonstrate Macerich Core Values and partner with property teams and dealmakers to ensure lease administration efficiency and accurate reporting.
Essential Job Functions:
Work with Business Development dealmakers to enter, process and complete temp agreements in Yardi Retail Manager
Validate deal entry to ensure accurate data and document generation
Assist Business Development teams with utilizing Retail Manager to locate and review deal data and enter Leads
Assist Business Development teams with using available reporting tools, including Power BI, E-plans, and Yardi reporting
Review and validate reporting data to ensure accuracy, work with team leader on corrections
Collaborate with AVP, Specialty Leasing Regionals to onboard new hires in department processes, resources, and tools, specifically Retail Manager, Power BI, and forecast tool
Reconcile Specialty Leasing forecasts monthly and validate Specialty Leasing projections and budgets during formal cycles to ensure clean assumption data
Develop a thorough understanding of department processes and standards, collaborate with team and department leadership to create efficiencies and higher standards of operations
Attend department meetings as required
Communicate internally with Business Development teams on updates to processes and available tools
Report system bugs and work through testing enhancements as released Yardi
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1-3 years in Leasing, Specialty Leasing or Business Development administrative or support roles
Comprehensive understanding of lease agreements and deal entry, as well as basic forecasting principles and financial and occupancy reporting
Knowledge of specialty leasing and business development business programs
Effective communication skills that fosters cooperation, teamwork and resolution
Comprehensive computer skills including Outlook, Fuze, Excel, Word, Power Point, Kofax Nuance PDF, SharePoint, Box, and Yardi Elevate
