Location:Â Open to remote working out of Chicago, Dallas or Southern California.
This position is a manager within the Beer National Accounts, Category Leadership team and is accountable for leading technology projects, supporting space planning platforms, training, and providing data/technical services.
Provide input into the development of the Category Leadership technology strategies in partnership with organizational Category Leadership and IT teams.
Lead technology projects and provide expert training and support across new and existing Category Leadership technological solutions with an emphasis on Blue Yonder Space Planning, Stellar Shelf (Salesforce), and Microsoft Power Platforms.
Create and document new simplified processes that can be executed and standardized across the organizational Category Leadership teams.
Implement and conduct Category Leadership technology onboarding and training sessions.
Supports new Category Leadership technology initiatives through the entire lifecycle, which include ideation, strategy, prioritization, process mapping, development testing & feedback, tactics, and execution.
Provide technical services, such as software deployment, installs and support as well as general Category Leadership support requests.
Data systems maintenance and support including image &product libraries and Microsoft Power Platform environments.
Coordinate with IT and technical teams to ensure efficient use of technology.
Ensure cross functional collaboration and alignment with other departments including National Sales, BU Sales, Innovation, Commercial Insights, and Sales Execution.
Participate in activities that are aligned with department strategies and prioritized initiatives and category leadership opportunities.
Ensure team organization, processes and tasks are structured and designed to deliver efficiently on clearly understood goals
Bachelorâs degree required
2+ years of category management, sales, merchandising, or retail store management experience
1-2 years of space management experience
Expert knowledge of Blue Yonder (JDA) Space Planning or Apollo Space Planning
Strong PC proficiency, including extremely strong Excel skills
Proficient in the use of all category management software, concepts, analytical techniques; have an understanding of syndicated data
Ability to travel by plane approximately 20%
3+ years of category management, consumer or shopper insights, or research experience which included the management of the entire category
3+ years of Blue Yonder (JDA) Space Planning experience
Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action and adjust to change are key attributes of this role
Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Suite (Power Query, Power Pivot & Power BI)
Working knowledge of syndicated data sources; IRI, Nielsen, etc.
The ability to construct and modify JDA Space Automation Scripts. Experience with Mission Control or SA Pro is a plus
Experience working in a cloud database environment
Experience building and maintaining reports / scorecards
Experience leveraging Big Data â retailer POS, Syndicated, Internal, etc.

Must be able to work in an office environment primarily but periodically required to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and lighting
