The Investor Relations Senior Associate will provide the Investor Relations team with client services, operations management, and administrative support. This role is highly client services focused, with the primary responsibility of working with high-net-worth individuals, Registered Investment Advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure an exceptional investor experience. Timely, accurate and professional communications are critical to the success of this role. The ideal candidate has a genuine aptitude to assist and interest in building long-standing relationships.
Responsibilities:
Client Services & Investor Reporting
Respond to investor communications in a timely and professional manner
Maintain intimate familiarity of investor preferences, commitments, and relationships
Actively and proactively contribute to overall enhancement of investor experience
Manage investor statements and letter review
Lead raise schedule management
Investor onboarding and follow up
Assist in investor portfolio review
Manage state tax withholding for new investments
Liaise between accounting, internal stakeholders and external third parties
New Investments
Review operating and subscription agreements
Assist in the preparation and review of marketing decks
Assist in structuring new investments
Aid primary fundraisers in the follow up of investor prospecting
Investor Portal
Build and maintain accurate investment reporting and investor profiles
Run weekly distributions
Manage portal notifications
Internal Reporting
Update quarterly marketing book
Maintain and analyze internal data spreadsheets
Prepare and facilitate investment transfers
Assist with year-end tax preparation
Provide compliance reporting for SEC filings and lenders
Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university required, focus in real estate, business, finance or other relevant subject matter preferred
Critical thinking and ability to troubleshoot issues creatively
Familiarity with investor management portals, IMS experience preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience in client services required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced excel skills required
Excellent organizational, attention to detail and administrative skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills including comfortability in speaking with HNW investors, written and verbal
Ability to be prompt and punctual in responses and all assigned tasks
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and perform with professionalism, accuracy, and integrity
