General Description of Position: This position is for a Revenue Account (Retail, Office and/or Industrial) at our Mississauga/Markham location. The successful candidate will be a part of our property management accounting team and will be responsible for lease administration for the portfolio. This position calls for someone with strong organizational and communication skills. Tasks & Responsibilities: Responsible for Business Approval Form and Executed Lease review, MRI lease setup, vacates, amendments, renewals, future lease maintenance, etc. Ensure lease profile reflects correct billing information; Rent Roll reconciliation and monthly review of updates from Leasing Managers; Process monthly summary of charges and Tenant Adjustments; including percentage rent billings and analysis, back charges, and miscellaneous invoicing; Responsible for monthly base rent variance analysis and Budget change analysis; Preparation of Tenant Recovery calculations and invoices, including shortfall analysis; Preparation and issuance of instalment letters; Preparation of Tenant Statement of Accounts; Maintain security deposit ledger and application and subledger reconciliation Assist in yearly budget process; Assist with audit queries as required Other duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 3 years related Lease Administration experience in a property management environment; Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting or a related field; Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills; Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Environment; Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization; Self motivated, diplomatic and able to work independently; Able to prioritize time sensitive material and heavy workload; Strong Team Player; Experience with MRI and YARDI is a definite asset; Bilingualism would be considered an asset.
