Who you are As the Director of REMS (Real Estate Management Services) for the upstate of South Carolina, you will be responsible for management of significant client assets while also directing a team of property management and maintenance experts. You will serve as a senior level relationship manager, ensuring that Colliers continues to provide excellent, seamless, real estate management services to our clients. You will have a polished approach to collaborating with clients and teammates and demonstrate technical and financial property management expertise. You will possess competencies for managing a successful team and serving the needs of real estate owners within the Colliers portfolio. You will work collaboratively with teammates across all lines of businesses in the upstate and throughout South Carolina to foster and profitably grow the Real Estate Management Services portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a team of professionals focused on serving the Company’s clients through a managed process of providing best in class, time sensitive results.
What you bring • Ten years or more as a manager of complex commercial properties which includes industrial, retail and office property types. • A minimum of five years of experience in managing commercial property management personnel and developing new business. • Currently have or be qualified to earn a valid South Carolina Real Estate Sales or Property Manager’s License. • A commercial real estate management credential such as CPM or RPA. • A confident and articulate communication style with comfort in a client facing role. • Strong skills in the following areas: business management, human relations, financial analysis, budgeting, relationship building, time management, planning and organizing. Ability to develop and implement new business strategies in collaboration with other members of a leadership team including creation of and participation in sales presentations.
Bonus skills and experience • A College Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or a related discipline preferred.
