Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday
Other: Requires successful completion of DHS Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment prior to appointment and the ability to maintain these clearances as a condition of employment.
THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.
The Palm Beach County (PBC), Florida, Board of County Commissioners (BCC), is seeking an experienced professional to perform advanced responsible managerial, technical and administrative work leading the Airport Properties Division. This is a specialized management position primarily responsible for overseeing the use of, and/or the conduct of business activities on the County's four airports, including the Palm Beach International Airport, airlines, tenants, permittees, and concessionaires. Responsible for the solicitation and management of all Airport revenue contracts. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with airlines, tenants, concessionaires and other businesses operating on Airport property. This position also oversees special projects work, which includes procurement and on-going contract management functions. Work is performed independently and with initiative to govern in a manner that ensures compliance with the highest industry standards and all applicable regulatory environments. Work is reviewed by administrative superior through conferences and reports for adherence to established policies and achievement of desired objectives and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Public Administration, Law, Finance, or related field; minimum of six (6) years of experience in negotiating, drafting and administering revenue contracts, such as commercial leases and concession agreements, and project/property management that includes three (3) years of responsible management or supervisory experience. Equivalency: RelatedMaster’s Degree AND four (4) years of related experience, that includes three (3) years of responsible management or supervisory experience.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE IN/WITH: Working experience at a medium/large hub airport; retail and food and beverage development; Airport lease negotiation and financial analysis.
