Our Client is a real estate private equity firm specializing in opportunistic debt and equity investment throughout the capital stack. Founded in 2012, the firm has invested over $4 billion and has over $2 billion in assets currently under management deployed across a variety of investment strategies. Our Client has expertise in nearly all asset classes including mixed-use, office, multifamily, retail, industrial, self-storage, hotel, student housing, for rent housing, and condo. The firm has offices in the U.S. and internationally.
Our Client is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join their practice and bring in LPs for the firm, such as high/ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, and other wealth platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source capital for company investments through existing network.
- Build and maintain new capital relationships.
- Explore alternative capital sourcing, such as foreign institutions, and crowdfunding.
- Assist in up front structure of investment vehicles.
- Assist in marketing efforts for both existing and prospective capital targets.
- Maintain intimate familiarity of investor preferences, commitments, and relationships.
- Actively and proactively contribute to overall enhancement of investor experience.
- Assist in investor portfolio review.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a highly accomplished fundraiser with a minimum of 7+ years of experience raising equity capital on behalf of a real estate private equity manager or equivalent.
- Possess an easily verifiable record of having raised at least hundreds of millions for real estate throughout their career.
- Possess a good number of strong family office, HNWI, UHNWI, RIAs and middle market institutional relationships located primarily in the non-SE region.
- Be US-based with the ability to travel, coming to Atlanta, GA regularly to meet with the team as needed.
